Classes

Make-ups: All students in the Broadway Babies division are entitled to 2 make-up classes subject to availability. To schedule a make-up, e-mail makeups@broadwaybabies.com or call (212) 717-0703. Make-ups must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Refunds: A full refund (less a $75 cancellation fee) will be given prior to the second week of class. All refund requests must be submitted in writing by mail or fax prior to the second week of class.
Parent Classroom Manners: Please keep your cell phones on vibrate. If your child becomes upset, please step outside the room and return when they are feeling better. Please keep adult conversation to a minimum—anyone disrupting class may be asked to leave the room.
Twins: Twins must be accompanied by two care-givers.
Returned Checks: There is a $30 charge issued on each check returned from the bank for any reason.
Video & Photography: Video cameras or filming of any kind is not permitted, although Applause Theatrical Workshops reserves the right to film or photograph classes for teaching purposes and publicity.

Performance Classes: You will be assigned 2 tickets for the end-of-semester Superstars show in the order in which we receive your application.

Arrive five minutes early ready to work at the start of class.
Wear appropriate attire for class: comfortable clothing, dance shoes (no boots or sandals).
Bring a handheld recording device that is in perfect working condition to every class to record music and harmonies.
Attend both dress rehearsals and end-of-semester performances, otherwise they cannot be in the program.

Attend a mandatory meeting (TBA) for new students to discuss rules and expectations. Attendance is required in order for your child to be accepted into the program.
Fill out a conflict sheet with your child's scheduled conflicts and return it to us by the second week of class. A student is allowed 2 absences which must be noted on the conflict sheet. If they miss more than 2 classes, they could be asked to leave the program (without refund) unless their absence is preapproved by the Head Director.

Applause Theatrical Workshops reserves the right to dismiss a student, wihtout refund, whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Program Director, is not in the best interests of the program.
No refunds will be given after January 10, 2009.
